The Company Song

Culture is something you feel. In The Company Song, the group become songwriters and artists, and through interviews, lyric writing and singing together you create your very own company song from scratch.

It’s an experience of trust and pride, and a song that lives on long after the conference.

How it works

Five steps

1. 15 minWarm-up

   No-pressure voice and rhythm exercises that help everyone feel comfortable using their voice.

2. 15 minCulture interviews

   The teams interview each other using a set list of questions: in-jokes, proud moments, customer values and future goals. The answers become the raw material for the lyrics.

3. 30 minThe writing workshop

   Anna gathers keywords and leads the whole room in writing the chorus and setting the melody. Then each team writes its own verse to a ready-made backing track.

4. 15 minRehearsal

   The teams put their verses together with the chorus, practise some simple stage moves and polish the performance.

5. 15 minWorld premiere

   The song is performed in full, live in the room. The performance is filmed and handed over to the company as a keepsake.
